All burrs are always sterilized at high temperature in a quartz oven & sterilizer. Place the tool in the sterilizer, after making sure that you have removed the plastic blue ring first.
Pro tip:
The colors on each bur indicate its roughness, not its hardness, as the material is the same in all colors. The rougher it is, the easier it is to remove material.
