Carbide burr is highly resistant and does not heat up and does not wear out easily.

This particular one is M Gold Round umbrella

All burrs are sterilized at high temperature

Carbide burrs are harder than ceramic burrs.

They are ideal for various uses and are an essential tool for every nail technician who uses a wheel

Colors:

  • The colors on each burr indicate its roughness and not its hardness, as many believe.
  • The material is the same in all colors.
  • What changes is how rough the surface is.
  • The rougher the surface, the more material they remove.

The classification in relation to roughness is:

Red: slightly rough

Blue: moderately rough

Green: very rough

Sterilization:

All burrs are always sterilized at high temperature

You can put them in a crystal sterilizer or in a high temperature oven

Before putting them in the sterilizer, remove the plastic ring

The general rule for use on each burr is:

Point: For nail or podiatry work.

Barrel: For removing material, pedicure or nail shaping.

Cone: For removing material, nail shaping or shaping artificial ones

Ball: For nail or podiatry work

The above categories are general and there are several variations in shapes. For example, there is a point with an oval or very pointed tip. There is a barrel that has angles or an oval tip.

Small or large ball. Small or large cone.

The variations depend on what suits each craftswoman and what application she wants to make. The choices, combinations and uses are endless.
