Instructions for use

First, choose the right comb according to your hair type:

• Fine-tooth comb: for hair types I to IV on the L’Oréal* scale (straight to wavy).

• Intermediate comb: for hair types V on the L’Oréal* scale (curly hair).

• Wide-tooth comb: for types VI & VII on the L’Oréal* scale (very curly to very tight curls).

Please note that some hairstyles (such as S Waves, crimped hair styles…) require the comb to be removed.

Fill the built-in water tank with deionized water. Using regular tap water may cause the product to malfunction. Please note that the SteamPod also works when the water tank is empty, but for optimal results, the tank must be full before use.

Then, turn on the tool and set the appropriate temperature according to your hair texture:

• 180°C: for fine, delicate hair (color-treated or bleached).

• 200-210°C: for thick, natural hair only.

For extra safety, place the heat protection caps on the curl lock guide before straightening. Make sure the arrows are facing down when styling your hair.

*L’Oréal to Walker scale correspondence:

• Fine tooth comb: type 1A to 2C.

• Intermediate comb: type 3A to 3C.

• Wide tooth comb: type 4A to 4C.
