The COSRX Salicylic Acid Daily Gentle Cleanser is a foam cleanser specially designed for acne-prone and breakout-prone skin. Its formula contains 0.5% Salicylic Acid (BHA) to remove impurities and makeup while gently exfoliating dead skin cells, clearing blackheads, and unclogging pores. Despite its deep-cleansing action, it remains gentle and skin-friendly.

Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid (BHA), meaning it is an oil-soluble exfoliant. Unlike AHAs, BHAs penetrate deeper into the pores to dissolve impurities, dirt, and excess sebum. This makes them ideal for normal to oily, congested skin types. Additionally, BHAs have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, making them beneficial for those prone to redness and rosacea.

Salix Nigra (Willow Bark) Extract: Naturally rich in a compound related to salicylic acid, along with flavonoids and phenolic acids that provide soothing and antiseptic properties.

Betaine: An amino acid derived from sugar beets, known for its protective and moisturizing properties. It helps maintain the skin’s oil-moisture balance.

Tea Tree Extract: Well known for its healing and antibacterial effects, it also helps regulate excess oil production.

How to Use:

Wet your hands and face, then dispense 2cm of the cleanser onto your hands. Lather into a rich foam and gently massage onto your face. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
