How to apply Cat Eye Gel Polish

The Cat Eye effect is created due to the magnetized particles in the polish. When you place your magnet over the Cat Eye polish, the magnet will attract these particles and create amazing designs on your nails!

Our 5D Cat Eye was designed to take even more of the dazzling effect that Cat Eye Gels can create! You can achieve this stunning plush-looking effect by using one or two magnets.

If using a magnet:

Apply Base Coat and cure for 60 seconds. Apply your first coat of Cat Eye Gel and leave your magnet on the bottom, top and both sides of your nail for 5 seconds at a time. Cure for 60 seconds.

Repeat this process 1-2 more times to build up the opacity – and the magnetized effect! Once finished, apply No Wipe Top Coat and give a final 60 second cure.

You can also use two magnets. This activates even more magnetized particles:

Follow the same steps above applying the Base Coat first, the cure and then your first coat of Cat Eye Gel. Take one magnet and hold it at the top of your nail and a second magnet and hold it near the bottom. The magnets must be attracted to each other to create the effect.

Cure, then repeat 1-2 more times to build it up and finish with No Wipe Top Coat.

Tip: To achieve opacity in the result and to achieve an intense effect from the very first layer, apply black color after the Base Coat.
